I've had lunch in the Eiffel Tower in Paris (the REAL one, not the Las Vegas one) and that was high enough for me.

Walking down through the girderwork of the Eiffel Tower after lunch at the Jules Verne was one of my favorite things to do in Paris. And it was one of our first formal-ish meals there, so we hadn't yet discovered they won't bring you the check unless you ask for it. We hung out there for hours.


I don't always require formal dining ... but I've no desire to dine while dangling from a crane. So.Not.Classy.

We ate at Altitude, and then took the elevator down. And the meal was paid for in advance, so we didn't need to ask for the cheque. But, yes. The French don't belive in hasstling you while you eat. If you want something, just motion for a server. They are usually watching you to see if you need something.

I think this would be much cooler if you'd get to rappel to the ground afterwards.
