OK, so on with the show, using spoiler tags for now just in case.....

My overall impression, the book was too much like the The Da Vinci Code. Same basic plot, same basic bad guy, same supposed "earth shattering" revelations about religion.

Perhaps it's because I live here and know the area, but I was pretty much ahead of him most of the way. Still it was fun to follow along using the Internet/Google/Google Earth/etc... Did anyone not see the truth about the villain from the get go? Or not figure out where the end of the trail would lead?

From the first time they gave an info on the villian I knew who it was. I kept hoping there would be some sort of twist and it would end up being someone else. That never happend so I was kind of disapointed. And yea pretty much DaVinci Code in a different setting. It was kind of like eating cotton candy - melts in your mouth but not very satisfying after.

I didn't see the villian coming. You guys must all be smarter then me.

In a way it very much goes with what I've felt - there are power in thoughts. I don't believe in God yet I do believe in the power of prayer.

I'm curious as to how much is fact vs. fiction. Obviously the main story is fiction - I'm talking about the various historical and scientific things mentioned.
