Put the pancake robot in the room with the Cloaca machine (it was posted here a while ago..)

Interestingly, this is exactly how ThinKrisps are made.

(I'm creeped out by the VO from 2:29 to 2:45)

Lucy and Ethel could beat that steam drill or die.

I did lose a bit of trust when the narrator said this was part of the final solution.

LMAO I'm definitely not eating those Godwinned pancakes now!

I had pancakes this morning (but not robotic ones).

Screw pancakes! This one can do the dishes. Oh yeah.

JWBear 10-18-2009 09:14 AM

If it will also clean toilets and dust, I'm so in!

Either the translators are doing a poor job or 3/4 of that video did not involve robots. Um, an electric wheelchair? One of those towing things they use at Target to push shopping carts? How are those robots, or even involve robotics?

I also wouldn't say that the first actual robot doesn't do dishes. It picks things up and puts them down. Not to say that isn't impressive, it's something they've been working on forever, but it's a far cry from useful. Hopefully they're shooting for assistance to the disabled.

I used to design food handling conveyor systems. It was fun. Never got to do a robot though. I love robots and that pancake robot is good robot porn.

I do have to wonder though how does handling the product with bare hands (0:45-0:55) help them meet their "stringent hygienic handling of food"?
