How about my cat?

He'd do a better job than Grier.

And I don't even have a cat!

Andrew at MP posted copies of both:
-- E-mail message from Disneyland Resort president Ed Grier to cast members
-- E-mail message from Walt Disney Parks & Resorts president of worldwide operations Al Weiss to executives

Speaking of which, Dick Cook's replacement has been announced.

At first I was like, 'Ed Grimley resigned'? What does that mean?
lol

I think they should hire me. Is there a write-in campaign?

I'll have to say, in spite of his apparent non-performance at Disneyland, Ed was a much more hands-on and visible presence when he was Vice President at the then Disney-MGM Studios here in Florida. He was known as a very approachable and warm personality, and I had several pleasant conversations with him. I was honestly surprised to hear about his invisibility and lack of cast rapport at Disneyland.

Just to be clear, those emails were forwarded to MousePlanet by Disneyland's Media Relations department--we didn't hack their mail server or anything like that...;)
