Yes, especially since they - for the only time that I can remember - included AGENTS in the montage.

Perhaps if they started including all the child actors who went on to die from drugs at a young age, the entire montage would take on too much sleaziness. Oi.

Having finally seen head-to-toe shots of Oscar Ceremony Celebrity Formal Wear, I noticed for the first time that Daniel Day Lewis was sporting brown Hush Puppies with his disgusting tux. Ugh, demand the Oscar back.

That's what Swanie said but to me it looked like the lapel stripes were red matching his wife's outfit.

I think that the Day-Lewises were exercising their right to a sense of humor... or over-the-top "fashion" "sense".... either way, it didn't make much sense.

I get that that's what he was going for, but he'd have done better with multicolored shoes eg: black with brown accent, or something*.

(*-this fashion advice brought to you by the woman who wears black suede clodhoppers with just about everything - when I'm not wearing the multicolored ribbon shoes that go with everything and clash with it at the same time)

I like the idea that the Day-Lewises were having a fashion faux-pas field day with a jokester sense of humor.

Otherwise, ... well, the alternatives are too horrible to consider.

Might I add that I fit your side note to a T except that my clodhoppers are brown leather, not suede.
And I dont beleive my multi colored ribbon shoes go with as much as I think. :snap:
