I'm dying over here, too cute.
|
So, I log in to the internet today and open up my web browser. Google is my home page.
Google is in French today. Why? |
We get that in my office quite a bit. The best we can figure, is Google is misreading IP addresses. There should be a link to Google English somewhere on that page.
|
I checked and can't see Google.com OR google.com.au in French - perhaps your language prefs are all akimbo ?
|
It's gotta be the funky IP thing... The homepage is set to google.com, but what's coming up is google.fr. (So it's not a language pref.)
It's not a problem, really. It is awfully curious, though. Bon jour from France, everyone! I guess. |
Oh.My.God.So.Freakin.Adorable
Swanie, feel better soon! You have an absolutely killer of cuteness there. |
If you're getting Google in another language when you want Google English, try going explicitly to www.google.us. Usually that will work. If not, do www.google.ca or www.google.uk to get the Canada or UK sites.
Some spelling differences on the pages and result ranking may vary slightly but otherwise the same stuff. |
