My new favorite thing is Whole Foods' brownie bits that you can buy in a plastic tub. They're better than the ones at Trader Joe's. Someone brought some in for rehearsals last night. They're wonderful!

oooohhhhh...brownie bites.... *drool*

I have to go grocery shopping tonight...I am trying to decide whether to go to Vons (no brownie bites, but very close to the house) or to Albertsons (out of my way, but they have brownie bites). hmmmm such a dilema...

Got it!

A few minutes ago, I cleaned up my cat's crime scene in my formal dining room, kitchen, and family room. Dang bird feathers everywhere.

Common sense won out and I went to Vons.

Aside from yet another UTI, Boris got a good report from the vet! At least on the physical exam. One kidney appears to have stepped up to compensate for the other, which is good. I'll have to wait on blood work to see if the Norvasc is helping those numbers. Oh, and he gained back the pound he lost after having some teeth out a year ago! Yay!

Yay, Boris! :)

My dad had yet another surgery yesterday. The good news was they were able to remove the gall bladder laproscopically. The bad news was that they discovered that the gall baldder had actually died and become gangreenous. And his blood pressure dropped druing surgery. But, they're confident they got everything out, and his blood pressure is back to normal. They're keeping him in the hospital until Monday to be sure no infections return and that he can keep food down. And the best news, from his standpoint, he should be cleared to go back to work by a week from Monday!

That's really quick! Wow. I'm glad they got to it in time. Our best to your dad for a quick recovery.

Let's keep our fingers crossed and theprayers (or whatever) going.'s
