I'm trying out some new ideas for my logo (Nuclear Muffin Test Kitchen) - this was the first thing I whipped up

My honey will finally be home around 2am tonight (tomorrow? I say tonight cuz it won't be morning yet. Kind of. ). For some reason this time was really hard for me to b alone. Normally I don't have a problem. I guess because I was busy with school and have to be here for the hounds and can't go to Disneyland. :)

Oh my gosh. I live right there. They used to give us a list of the shows so that we could be aware of the 'situations'. Gawd, what a freakin' mess. Couldn't go anywhere and then again when the shows got out. They wouldn't even let people turn into the housing area!!!

For some reason I haven't really been noticing. I think that only means that my life sucks and I don't go anywhere. :(

But, anywho, after shows, we normally leave towards the south. Unless we leave the show early then it isn't too bad.

It is hot today.........what is everyone doing to stay cool? It is also my sons 14th birthday. *sigh* while I love that I don't have to take cupcakes anymore :D it is still a reminder of how old he {I'm} getting.

It was hot enough here yesterday that I actually went looking for a pair of shorts, hoping I could 1- find a pair, and 2- that they would still fit.

Ice in my drink. Ice in the dog water bowl. Open windows and turn on the fan. That's how we stay cool here.

Happy Monday everyone! It is a happy Monday, nothing in the systems work today. So high tech, nothing works. At least the internet does, for now!

Wow, same thing here. Our branch in Orlando almost took the day off because of power outages - but they were only dark for a little over an hour, so few actually escaped in time to have a half-Monday.

Our servers are down, and I can't do the important stuff on my plate. So, I'm pulling stuff from the backburners and it's really annoying. Oh well.
