So I just got home after my computer crime final. Haven't done an in-class essay since last august, so I was rusty. I completely blanked on one sub-question, did everything else, came back to it with 4 minutes left and suddenly remembered d'oh! Computer trespasser exception! And dashed off an answer, the last sentence of which wasn't grammatically correct, but since I hit . at the end of that sentence just as they called time, I had to let it go. Hey, at least I got something down!

Instructor's kind of an ass, and a a really dull and boring ass, so I don't know how things will turn out, but I milked that first question for all the issues I could find (was way better prepped on substantive law (1st question) than procedural law (2nd question)) and then some, so hopefully that will cover any omissions in the second question.

Two courses down, two to go. Plus an R&T edit. 13 days to Orlando!

Dexter is home from the Vet. Teeth are clean and one tooth was extracted. He's such a trooper. Mommy feels like she's been through hell today though.

They are doing a remake of The Omen. I think I might have to cry now.

Since we had a nice cash windfall, we are going to treat ourselves to Napa Rose on Saturday night. This will be our first visit.

I called Disney Dining on my way home tonight and the only ressy slot available was 7:30 - perfect!

I'm so jealous! I hope you love it. I highly recommend going with whatever the Vintner's Table menu is for the week, with the wine pairings. Amazing every time. Oooh! and we love the cheesy cracker bread stuff.

Randomness

What is with the funk that has been going around. It's not just the grumpy thread. Almost everyone I know and everywhere I go has it. I wish this weather would clear up and we could have some sun. I think natural light would help.

And I'm tired of flakey people.

That is all.

With Mia Farrow as Ms. Blalock, the nanny from Hell.

Let me guess... Jack Black in the Gregory Peck role? Jessica Alba is his wife... Dakota Fanning dressed as a boy to play Damien? Ben Stiller as a priest...

:D

went to a very swanky special PotC event last night. cool attraction and film previews as well as a look at the marketing strategy.

Davy Jones is gonna be cool!

pre-event entertainment included the new Dapper Dans that will make their debut on Main Street today in front of the fruit cart. the four seat bicycle will become a staple of their set as well.

there will be a revival of live atmosphere talent rolled out Parkwide, over several months, including marauding pirates in NOS.

after the main course was served, a very cool highlight of the evening was a four-tier milk chocolate waterfall to make your our deserts with pretzels, rice crispy squares and marshmellows. yummy.

oh, and i had a another wonderful chat with CM Matt this week after bumping into him in the Park. what a humble and gracious guy! we are all so lucky to have him at the helm.:snap:

today, i have a very special treat in store again... as a reward for all of the hard work. getting paid to be escorted for a day of FUN away from the office. life is good.
