Did you give the supervisor a lecture on the diverse time zones of this country?

According to today's paper:

"A remake of the classic 1976 satanic thriller, this time starring Liev Schreiber and Julia Stiles as the diplomat and his wife who unknowingly adopt the anti-Christ. (June 6)"

No, I didn't think so.

I feel special now.

LOL....oy, I can sooooo relate.
recent history......sneeze, while driving thru a dip, while holding large McD hot coffee sans secured lid.

its really quite amazing how long a perfectly round orb of obscenely hot coffee (wearing a coffee cup lid for a hat no less) will hover mockingly in mid air before landing in your lap...and how really HOT it stays in the meantime.

so....special? mmm....ok, but if you are, I am. see ya on the short bus.

:D

No. I told her to stop lecturing me, it was no secret they outsource their customer service and if they ever called me that early again I'd take my business elsewhere.

So, I just got back from lunch and was wrapping up a few things before heading out, and a message comes on over the building PA that there's been a chemical spill and we are not to leave the building.

Today, a guest was yelling at me about never seeing any celebrities here...

(at the exact moment she was ranting, if she would have turned around, Jay Leno was filming his "Jay Walking" segment about 50 feet behind her).

Sooooo, we took Charles to the vet where four things happened:
  • He got antibiotics
  • He got X-rays that showed ALMOST nothing (more in a sec)
  • He got bloodwork
  • He held court
We don't know what is wrong with him but maybe the bloodwork will show something when it comes back tomorrow. However, the X-rays showed that all of his organs are normal but that he has been SHOT by a BEBE in the leg at one point in lis life. He was SHOT! Someone SHOT Charles! The sweetest, most loving kitty ever and he was SHOT!

Leo, I sure hope to GOD that wasn't you!

Meanwhile, all of the ladies were a-twitter over the 17 pound orange love dispenser. Even Leo would like Charles!

I wonder if Charles would have better success in dragging Leo's visit dates out of him?
