I hit a bird today. It flew out of the bushes right in front of my car. There was a "thump" and then a flurry of feathers in the rear view mirror.

This is the third dead bird in a week. I wonder if the universe is trying to tell me something.

I had a friend tell me once that birds are said to be the universe's messengers. I once had a bird inside my house nearly every day for two weeks. None before, none since. So effing weird. I think I must have missed the message though.

Every time someone close to be dies, I have a weird encounter with a bird.

Pru, that sounds like an amazing opportunity. Besides, a company of that size probably has some sort of in-house legal department. And if they don't, work in that industry could bolster your resume should you choose to peruse other opportunities in the future.

I work in relocation. Do they have an in-house or outsourced relocation service?

Accidents happen.

Yup, they do.

Even to amateurs.

But then there's this idiot.

We had a bird in our house once. Who knew a cat could jump that high or move that fast. Damn.

I'm going to go back to work now. I expect there to be at least 235 new posts when I return this evening. (Yesterday, it was 223, so you've got a record to beat.)
