I guess the boy will be wanting me to get him a lotto ticket. Bloody waste of money, if you ask me, but it makes him happy.

It's 8:30pm on a Friday, and I'm still stuck at work.

I thought winning the lottery was your new job?

What's wrong with this picture?

lol

Don't get me wrong, I love Fridays...

Oh well...

Happy Friday, LoT!
:D

Oh, dude, it IS a holiday to me, now. It will be the weekly holiday signifying that for the following two days I'll be able to see my husband instead of, whilst half-asleep, feeling him sink into bed at 5 am. And then seeing a snoring blankety lump of him when I wake up to leave for work. And then sitting alone in a quiet house when I return.

I am so not lovin' his new night job - it'll be at least several months before it's done. On the up-side, he makes in three months what I make in six. I'm not sure it's enough to make up for the two partial-days we'll get to see each other weekly, though. Maybe it'll be easier when I'm not having such a crappy work week - and when I'm not sick.

I don't think I've really ever heard anybody say "Happy Friday." Is that common? (I'm wondering if it is a regionalism or just something I've missed.)

There is a woman in my office who says it.

There was a woman who worked with us who used to say it, but we killed her and buried her on a Monday.
