But, really, as a washed-up uber-champion, I heartily congratulate you on completing the race. It was grueling.

The event recap is up today. Click here.

There's also a link to a survey at the end of the article. Even if you have only played once and it was a while ago, we'd still like to hear your feedback. Click here.

We got eighth place. Sigh. I swear, I will not let the Haunts become like the Denton Affair :p

They've never played as retired Masters, so they were still in game-shape.

Ah, but take away the 60 minute penalty, and we would have been first (even ahead of the REAL winners, SSLFNAB(FORFAPFNM)). And hell, if we're taking away the 60 minute penalty, that would mean we had recognized the stack of luggage, so take away the 30 wasted minutes of trying to find that and we would have won by a large margian. AND take into account that after taking the 60 minute penalty we spent a good deal of time feeling defeated and moving slowly...

Of course, pure speculation, who knows how things would actually have gone, but I feel comforted that the results show that it really was that single gap in our knowledge that was our undoing, not some overall loss of competative edge.

Oh hey, Alex (or anyone who did the photoadventure). I want closure on a couple unresolved issues we discovered during beta testing.

How many round portholes ARE on the moonliner? We counted 17 (including the 4 small ones on the cockpit), Alex said 20. We never got a chance to recount.

Also, what became of the question "How many attractions are on the 1957 banner hanging from Innoventions?" Alex went with 2, the number of attractions on the banner hanging next to the large one that said "1957". But CP noticed that the one that said "1957" actually had attractions represented on it, drawn in white outline in the background. We never found out how Alex resolved that.

10th place. 26 minutes behind The Happy Haunts.

Congratulations to all the teams that finished. We had a rough time with this one, coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Welcome gfy4dland - it was nice to meet you!

I don't know. I could never get it confirmed so I just swapped out the question.

I left the question as is and nobody seems to have had a problem. What suprised me about that puzzle are the number of teams who simply went out and tried to answer all 26 of the questions before trying to solve the cryptogram.

Oh, and when thinking "what if," the Brother Bears had time penalties too, so if you remove yours, in fairness you should remove theirs (though I don't know how long there penalty was).
