No, I'm sorry. You were incorrect.

You may have thought that was what you wanted but only because you are a weak mind and easily swayed.

I am NOT easily swayed.

Well, I think it depends on how much you've had to drink.

Trying to get ready here; leaving tomorrow for Vegas. I sincerely hope the 14 and the 15 are open. Not sure of an alternate route to Acton.

I think I need to turn the heat on in the house. I'm sitting on the couch and, to the left of me are a PILE of beasties: Thurston, Trixie and Rupert (and a few plush toys for insulation). Very cute! Too dark for pictures though.

So I almost got hit leaving work when a driver distracted by his cell phone ran a red light. Thank goodness I was too busy texting to proceed into the intersection and be hit.

So I made a purchase at Amazon and it arrived at the apartment today. I wasn't concerned about this because the management office takes packages. Well, apparently today the UPS delivery guy didn't feel like giving it to them and instead left it at our door.

We're not really a high risk area so I'm not too mad. However, the box it shipped in was the original manufacturer's box and so it was completely obvious what was inside so that would concern me a bit. Anyway, showing foresight, the UPS guy decided to hide the package...under our doormat.

At this point you may be jumping to a conclusion as to how the story ended. You might assume I, or Lani, stepped on said doormat, breaking the item.

You'd be wrong, but it was a close thing:

VAM!

I've been enjoying the heck out of Netflix streaming. Watching an old British drama series called "The Duchess of Duke Street".

Of course that's been distracting me from the actual mailed DVDs in my posession, which is another (similar) series called "Upstairs, Downstairs" (much more well-known, and also excellent)

Oh yeah... Completely hidden. No one will ever find that!
