I haven't seen it, but I Scott Foundis (sp?), movie critic at LA Weekly liked it and said it was better than the first two.

I understand that this movie actually has an MI TEAM (as opposed to just Tom).

so... I get home to see 2 boxes sitting at the front door. since I didn't order anything, nor did I authorize anything to be ordered, I wondered what they were. I should havre known before looking. There is a large lady, who wears mumus and watched QVC all day, living on the next street over. For some reason UPS likes to send her crap to my address. Just because I shop at Lane Giant.com does not mean I also shop at QVC. In the past I have taken her packages to her, but this time one of them is very heavy. I am not going to hurt my back because a UPS driver didn't check the address (same number, totally different street). I called UPS and they acted like I was the one in the wrong because I didn't want to redeliver it. They told me that I would have to wait for a phone call to arrange for them to pick up the boxes and redeliver them to the correct person. GRRRRRR

When I got home I had a message from the local dispatch center. They were much nicer than the call center. She said she would send someone out first thing in the morning. At least I know the package will be safe tonight. It is beind an overgrown rose bush.

Nobody can run in a movie like Tom Cruise. I give him that.

I enjoyed it. Popcorn fluff that won't stay with me for long, but I loved seeing Kerri Russell again. Love, love, love her. More Kerri Russell. The wife that looked like a Liv Tyler / Evangalina Lily (sp? chick on Lost) hybrid drove me a little nuts, but one can't have it all.

Dug the old school action. The scene on the bridge was fantastic. Run Cruise Run...and get smacked into cars more often. That was cool.

We're supposed to go see this Friday night. Neither of us have seen the first two. Would it work as a stand alone movie or would we be totally lost.

I also really want to see Posiden.

I can't help it. I hear Posideon and it just starts playing.

It's fine as a standalone. I don't remember the first two at all but I enjoyed this one.

We saw it for free, and I had more fun than I thought I would. Very nice job all around. I love Philip Seymour Hoffman.
