Is it bad for me to think that I look damn good?

Because I do...

We saw it for free, and I had more fun than I thought I would. Very nice job all around. I love Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Thanks. Seems MI:3 will be the choice. Nothing like a movie with fire.

Honey, you DO! Don't feel bad.

Soooo, there's something askew in the universe. I'm convinced of it.

I've been a bit "off" lately, sad, upset, depressed even. Maybt it is just because I'm still worrying about my sniffily Charles but, nothing seems to be going the way it should. After Chris' train wreck of a day yesterday, i though "how can things get much odder than this?"

Well, I guess they can. If his day was a train wreck yesterday then my day today could be described as "trashed". Even though I've been productive today I didn't get ANY of the long list of createive endeavors even started. Just now, I gave up and decided to pull out the trash cans for tomorrow is trash day.

Our regular bin is FULL. Overflowig full. As I am taking it out to the curb, struggling with the heavy can, I lose my balance on the edge of the sidewals and fall - me AND the trash - to the cement. OUCH!

To make matter worse, Chris, sitting just on the other side of the window, doesn't hear the crash nor my scream.

And my back has been feeling so much better lately!

BarTopDancer 05-10-2006 10:16 PM

Oh no! Glad you're ok. Stupid trash.

There is something off, in a big way. Erica and I were talking, it's not limited to the board and was occuring before the grumpy thread (not to be confused with grumpy pants). Other friends, co-workers, random people are just feeling *off* She says "if you're not saying wtf you're in the wtf". Or something like that.

I think it has to do with the crummy weather.

Hey! I just popped an AG invite in the mail- don't you dare break your neck before then!!! (Or after).

I'm sorry- firstly, because I didn't know Charlie-pie was sniffly, but I'm sure he's okay. He's too cute to be otherwise.

Are you okay? You're too cute to be otherwise, too! You all stay healthy and safe, dammit! No more trains, no garbage, nada. Bubble-wrap for all of you!

lizziebith 05-10-2006 10:27 PM

Where is the grumpy thread! I need that too. Yeah, I feel off too. Early June gloom or something. I had nothing to do all day because boss was out sick, but did I do anything productive? Nah. Just surfed...and didn't even post anywhere! Truly horrendous traffic home, horrid service at a regular restaurant, overworked and stressed hubby needing my support (I tried). Bah. So I'm making up for it by posting incendiary comments in political threads, when I should just bury the old brain in Mr. Pillow and call it.

I won 25 gallons of paint.

Throw in some pizza and beer and you got yourself a party! :D

You've probably noticed that I'm feeling off. Sometimes subtlety is not my strong suit. I don't like where I am and change feels uncertain and a long way off. And there's no guarantee I'll like it when it gets here.
