Hmm, not that I recall, but I don't have the best memory.

Pice ar y Maen (pronounced: pick-are-uh-mine).. And yes, they're yummy! (kind of a cross between a pancake and a cookie.)

Hmmm... I'm on the bus, watching the traffic sitting at a complete stop to my right, and taking advantage of the free interwebs.

W00T!

They are having some wicked weather in the Plains lately. Not usually a big deal worth noting except for this. The most odd storm report I have ever read came out of Kansas this afternoon.

Yikes!

Dustin Hoffman on the Tonight Show.

"The husband says to the wife 'Why don't you ever tell me when you're having an orgasm?' Wife: 'Because you're not home'." :D

Badumpum!!

...I'll ease down to 1500 eventually. :p

Yeah, I'm heavier AND shorter, and my doctor this week first suggested 1800 before I told him I'd been doing 1400 per the advice of a prior dietician. He said he didn't want my metabolism to slow down, but if I was having any success at 1400 I should just carry on.

I've learned some things over the past two weeks as King of the Castle.

1. I can actually cook some things. I cooked a pork chop and green peas for dinner the other night. You don't realize how much of an acomplishment that is for me.

2. Meanwhile I suck at eggs. Or maybe that should read I SUCK eggs. Whichever you prefer. I've tried in the pan or in the microwave. The scrambled eggs I am trying to make just don't come out right. It's frustrating!

3. I love fredom but I need to have some structure or I don't get things done (or as much done as I need to). I will be much better off setting a somewhat-solid schedule of tasks instead of going with the flow. I'll get more done that way.

4. I am not ready to live independently yet. I need some more training. In a related note my friend in Kentucky (Dave) who just lost his Father to Cancer has invited me up to Louisville to spend some time wih him. I think I will take the offer. It just costs me 40 bucks to hop a bus and head to Louisville. He said that hte could help teach me some more things I need to know how to do so I can live independently.

Let's discuss these eggs.
What are you doing, what do you not like about your results?

THIS topic alone should throw off the campers post count game.

Don't cook eggs over high heat. Also.. add a teeny spot of milk to them while they are cooking!

Also, don't add salt or seasonings until they are done cooking, BD. (Excepting herbs like chives).
