Great tip JW! You can also find them in the summer time with the packages of dressing mix, mine is from Hidden Valley. I also have the old style too but they work perfectly for things like that.

I was using a microwave safe bowl and I was doing two eggs. and I was doing it in on minute increments between stirring. I suppose the shorter time segments are probably better.

When are they coming back...a week? Or on Monday?

Hopefully I can reach 900 posts by the time they get back.

Hey Chernabog!

Love the T-shirt in your avatar. However I don't understand one thing. What does the egg have to do with anything or is it just there randomly?

JWBear 06-06-2008 12:45 PM

Another scrambled egg trick: Use one of those rubber or silicon scraper thingies, not a spatula or a spoon, when stirring the eggs in the frying pan. It works much better!

Don't forget that I haven't left yet... and I only gave you guys credit for Saturday afternoon through Monday afternoon - since the bet was, I believe, for what we thought would be the count on our personal return! I'm not even gone yet, so for me, we can't even start counting!

When Bjork walked the red carpet at the Oscars in the swan dress, she had little plastic eggs that she left lying around. :D

Most people don't understand that the dress was intended to be fun and silly. It was not meant to be taken seriously -- but Bjork was very very smart (publicity-wise) in wearing that dress. I mean, off the top of your can you really name anyone who wore a standout dress to the Oscars that's remembered specifically as THEIRS, this many years later?

When Bjork performed at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion later that year, she wore the swan dress for half of the show (and she also was photographed in it on the cover of her 2001 album, Vespertine).
