I'm impressed you can spell it, I can't!

No, this is not a back-handed compliment!

Ken's the official gross picker-upper in our home. He pretty much has no choice. ;)

When the rats die in our celieng, we recruit whatever person of the male species is nearby to take out.

well, male species over 30.

Oh, believe me, if Chris was home, he's be doing the rat-handling. I just couldn't bear to have him and his friends vacation in my backyard any longer.

Did I mention Stoat's back home tonight?

*tries not to think of Maggot-infested Rats...*

Well, I think you need to reclaim that area of your garden, then maybe they won't come back?

And, I named a dead rat Ratatouillie!!! It was on this not often used sidewalk, I couldn't remove it, as all I had was me, no bags {no cracks please!}after a few days it was gone but the mark was left!! His shadow? From where his little body was? Really gross it was.

How about Stoat infested with maggots?

He was probably killed by a local outdoor cat. We have all sorts of "wildlife" in our neighborhood.......opossums, racoon, skunks, and, apparently, coyote and roof rats, although we have never had a roof rat problem at our house.

This is a reminder that trash goes out in the morning and I need to clean the Girl's cage.

We took Holly and Sweetness in on Friday. It was hard. Boy was bawling, which made me cry. Holly slept in my arms until I had to hand her off. Next time I am ready for more girls I will be calling the pet store to see if they have any Dumbo's ready to take home. Holly was my first experience with that breed, and hopefully she won't be my last.
