That would apply to many gay men too.

Thinking of slang to play with....

tying the knot
taking the plunge
jumping the broom
getting hitched

No more talk of creepy crawlies. The toad saga of last year continues...

Now, instead of the tiny baby toads covering my yard, I have many larger toads in my yard.

I was talking to my mom when I got home tonight. I was coming back from one of Boy's late baseball games. I noticed that the "leaves" on the front yard were moving. I counted at least 5. As I walked to the front door I screeched and my mom started laughing. She asked if that made 6. grrrr... Toady is the largest and he hangs out on the bricks by the front door. There are at least 3 in the backyard.

The Boy has decided it is time to re-educate me on Home Toad Removal Procedures.

But toads are cool!

I ended up calling the package discount deal, "Celebration Special".

And, I called the $100 civil service package, "Royal Court Package".

The domains are being forwarded right now. :D

And, the new changes are done to the events portion of the website. I've got everything done except the "About Us" page, because I'm too tired to write anything semi-professional right now, and I still need to upload more samples. But, it's up at least, and the domain forwarding is processing. I am tired!!!

So, we're living in the French part of Switzerland where truly not a lot of English is spoken. There's a wonderful swimming pool complex that includes a restaurant. We wanted to go swimming the other day, so I called the number on the back of the brochure and asked, in my imperfectly accented French, if they provided towels (serviettes) or if we'd have to bring our own.

The man on the other end sounded astounded and a bit indignant.
"Serviettes? Serviettes?"
I repeated my question.
Fortunately, he figured out what had happened and told me that I had called the restaurant, not the pool.

The punchline is that "serviettes" also means "napkins." So for at least a few seconds, I was the idiot American who called the restaurant to ask if they provided napkins or if we'd have to bring our own.

Reader's Digest, here I come.

Headliner and I are off today for WDW. You all be good while we are gone and I'll bring back some photos...

Bonjour, mon voisin! You're not that far from me then. I'm in Franche-Comté.

Hey, at least you could communicate enough with him. I find phone conversations very difficult. I still haven't had the nerve to try to schedule a haircut.
