Welcome to my world :(

We sometimes have a hard time explaining to customers that we need the actual fonts that you used to create your document. You Times New Roman may not be the same as my Times New Roman.

Also, the following programs are not programs to be used for print production: Word, PowerPoint, Publisher (well, anything from Microsoft). Also, do not use Photoshop for anything to do with type. Yes, I know that you can place type in Photoshop, but it handles it as raster data: not vector. Unless you make your document with a resolution of about 5000 x 5000 (which will make your file HUGE), the type will not look right.

Sorry: been a PITA day :(

That's what Illustrator is for. ;)

One of these days, I will have the full production suite of CS3... I love Illustrator.

You would be amazed at the crap we get.

(And Illustrator is for image creation/manipulation: InDesign [or Quark XPress] is for page layout.)

(And I have the full CS2 Suite - we have CS3 at work.)

(No more parenthetical references.)

(Doh!)

And custom fonts and logos that can then be animated with Motion. *drool*

The Celtics deserved to win. They played better defense than the Lakers. Kobe was all alone working his butt of with no help. I wish I was in Boston tonight.
:)

Why do I find it strange reading basketball commentary by GC?

BarTopDancer 06-17-2008 09:22 PM

We have full CS3 at work too. And CS2. And CS.

Rondo stole the ball how many times? You'd think it had a string attached to his wrist.
131 to 92! Dang!
I mean, 3 pointer after 3 pointer. Amazing.
It was kind of neat that Doc put rookie Davis in but the guy was like the Fridge on a basketball court. He didn't move too well.

And, man, was it Free Beer Night for the Boston crowd? Damn, they were on their feet for most of the game.

OK GC is scaring me ;)
