Worse yet, it has been a long time since a new LashPair travel thread has been created!!!

OMG! Aren't they going to Disneyland or something? Don't we have meets to plan? And what about a cocktail party? We need to get on this STAT!

Isn't it time to start planning Swank Camp 2010?

We haven't even p;anned Swank Camp 2009 yet, so.....yeah, it's about time. ;)

I am spending a very unSwank weekend in Ventura. I will be with not only The Old People, but also a bunch of random old people. Oh well, it does get me out of the house. I was so NOT looking forward to the 105+ temps being predicted here this weekend.



The guys chased off the kitties at work. The kitties had been behind/under some equipment in the back of our building. I just saw one of them going up inside the engine compartment of one of the shop trucks. I am so ticked off at the guys right now. They had no real reason for chasing off the kittens, other than they could. Now, as soon as one of them turns on the truck all of the kitties are in jeopardy. If I tell the guys they will do it on purpose. What a bunch of Asshats!!!

Good news, Bad news...

The bad: In my old age I seem to have developed motion sickness. The teacups and mission space are very unpleasant.

The good: I rode a segway today. Cool beans! I gotta get me one of them.

In searching for some info to support/dispute a recent rumor I heard that they are experiencing reliability issues with the Segway, I discovered that one can purchase a Ferrari version of the Segway for about $11,000:



Although it appears that the only thing that makes it a "Ferrari Edition" is that they painted it Ferrari Red and put the Ferrari logo on it.

I would love to learn more about Camp Swank 2009.

I'm still trying to figure out where my vacation time will go, now that I will have real vacation time allotted.
