LSPE: Congrats! Keep on keepin' on.

Snowflake: Although my degree obligates me to automatically spout nonsense like, "Not as cool as if it was at Berkeley," I'll dare ostracism and say "Way, cool!"

Ha! No worries! Not the same as UC B, I did email the PFA to offer a copy to them, they never replied. So their copy has gone to the British Library instead.

At the beginning of last weeks I gave myself a 2 week deadline to finish a project (i.e., tomorrow's the day). This morning I wasn't positive I'd finish in time. By lunch I was even more convinced I wouldn't since I ran into a roadblock on one of the major features I was developing and couldn't find anyone who could help.

But I figured it out myself and as of 5 minutes ago, the code is done (minus testing).

I'm totally seriously happy on two levels. There is of course the accomplishment of getting it done. Then there's the fact that I was able to look at the work that needed to be done, evaluate what it would entail, and come up with a reasonable and achievable deadline.

Actually, make that three levels. As far as anyone knows, I've still got work to do on it. Sounds like I have myself a free day tomorrow (which, honestly, will probably mostly be spent making minor tweaks, bug fixes, and optimizations).

Crap, and now I just remembered a "not required, but would be nice to have" feature that I was putting aside because I didn't think I had time for it.

There goes my free day.

I just sent $400 worth of jewelry to a store in Bishop who is putting it in the front window for Memorial Day weekend. And, they're still getting snow in Mammoth, so it should be a good weekend. I'm hoping a second order will come in sooner rather than later. (However, she wiped out my stock of earrings and Patchwork Santa Ana in a week away!)

Yaay, Lisa! Tori still treasures (and wears ) the jewelry you made her- you 'got' her jewelry personality spot -on. :)

Even better, it is Mule Days in Bishop Memorial Day Weekend. The town will be packed; not sure if my Mom is going to show her Award Winning Small Hairy Ass.
