At first, I was almost flattered to receive an invite to Chicago's Joffrey Ballet's "Couture and Cocktails" fundraiser. "Dress camera-ready", it said. Wow!

But then I decided that an e-mail invite to such a formal affair is never swanky. The party will just have to go on without me.

Know anyone from Flippin, Arkansas?

I've been doing mapping for my company and I've been coming across some strange names, but this one cracked me up.

So, where are you from?

Flippin, Arkansas, man...

Kevy Baby 06-27-2008 11:28 AM

And their big claim to fame (according to the web site)?

Flippin is known as the home of the "Ranger" bass boat.

Sooooo, I've been taking some much needed time away from the computer after being on it for nearly 16 hours a day all of last week.

It's weird, because I'm slowly coming back to being on it, but the desire isn't coming back much at all. Talk about burn out!

Welcome back...we missed you!

Aww, c'mon! Joffrey Ballet! And they're saving a tree by not sending the paper. And the postage - with the money they didn't spend on stamps, they probably could afford their gentlemen's dance belts. Look at it that way!

Attention: GD

I'm going to a basedball game tonight.
The Dodgers baseball team is playing the Angels baseball team at a stadium.
I'm going with my friends who are rabid Angels fans.
It should be fun.
:)

I continue to cultivate my straightness.

:D

Here's what I know about baseball:
Eat a hot dog (the food)
Drink beer

They hit a ball (it's white) with a bat. Then they run around and try and touch the bases (the things in the ground). If the person in the field catches the ball before it hits the ground it's an out. If the ball goes out of the stadium it's a home run (guaranteed point(s)) Oh and points are called runs.

I think.

I dunno, I watch hockey!

I'm a big fan of baseball and basketball. Though, I don't know what teams I like. I really don't understand Football. Even if my friend, Logan (Who's a huge fan of it) tries to tell me how it is. It's like Greek to me.
