You know, I always feel motivated to do chores when I'm at work. I love planning.

Then I get on the bus and it's complete crash time. By the time I'm home I'm ready to do anything but chores.

Trying to make some decisions about the house. I need to get some plans down on paper before going to the architect. My mom may need to live here in the next few years so I better get cracking.

But am I? Nooooooo

I've been using Punch Super Home Suite and loving it if anybody's looking for a good cheap plans program.

You're a good son, McSam. I always have the thought in the back of my mind that one of my parents or in-laws might have to live with us one day. Only one at a time, please!

Me? Right now I'm procrastinating. I took a break from the task at hand and I don't feel like going back to it right now.

<blush> Thanks, MP

I'd by lying if I said I wasn't concerned about us living semi-together. We're both very much our own people. But I figure if I can remodel/add on enough to get a seperate 1bed/1bath flat, she can have her own place to go and come as she pleases. We'll see. And even if it doesn't happen, I'll have a small rental to add to the monthly cash flow.

Hey, we share a home with my MIL, and it (so far) is working nicely. We've all had to make adjustments, but it works fine. Families used to do this all the time, and I think the fact that the Girl gets to be so close to her grandma is very cool.

:snap:For you, Scrooge!

I'm thinking about what Steph said.

I'm also thinking about how much I hate NYC.

I'm trying to find a going away present for a work buddy going overseas.

Thinking about this

That's very cool, Scrooge! Great gift!

Sitting at my desk, gazing at the beautiful day outside. Key word here: outside. Why is it always nice weather when you have to work?

UvaGirl 01-25-2005 06:25 PM

I'm rapidly losing enthusiasm for work now...it's 2:30pm and I want to go home!:birdy:
