Chris and i are in for dinner but won't be there for drinks.

We're in for drinks but not dinner. There are 8 of us.

We'll try to be in for both, although I'm going to need to work in a shower at some point (we've got a room at PPH for the night). So 2 for us for drinkies and dinner.

We're good for drinks & Dinner, but as we are budgetary Bears we need somewhere middle-of-the-road pricewise, and non-buffet (Stoats don't eat a lot)

We did the Big Thunder barbecue on Sunday. It was actually pretty darn good, with one caveat: it was a hot day, and we kept drooling over the ice cream cones that the other families were getting for dessert. Finally, when it was time for us to finish our meal, it was revealed to us that the cones did not contain ice cream, but an iced cupcake on top of some cupcake-appropriate mixture. Not to say that an iced-strawberry shortcake cupcake with sliced strawberries served in an ice cream cone wasn't yummy, but with temperatures sitting at around 100 degrees, ice cream would have been a lot nicer.

I'm in for dinner, especially if it's Brennan's. Drinks, too, and whereever (though Tortilla Ho's seems to be a popular post-MA watering hole).

I could give a hoot about the boring awards ceremony. But drinks at 4:30 should allow everyone who wants to attend awards to have a cocktail before ... and those who want to skip it to keep downing 'em.

Would dinner at 7:00 work? If Brennan's Soup Kitchen is the venue, ressies are a MUST.
