Heh. I thought it was pointless anyway, since they were obviously uniting a story from two different timelines. I thought the episode was kinda sloppy regardless of the Oceanic 6 reveals. Unless Jin was body 1 of 2. That would be a bummer. He's a badass. A badass with the world's most glorious cheekbones.

Random aside: A friend came across a theory that Claire died in the explosion, but doesn't realize it. And the reason why Miles keeps looking at her askew (which Sawyer has interpreted as menacing) is because he hasn't encountered anything like the Island "spirits" before, if that is what they are.

I do love the random theories that bandy about online. Lost SIMS! Hoo-by.

Jacob hasn't been identified yet, as far as I know. We have seen him, and a close up of his eye. When Hurley looks into the cabin, he sees Jack's dad in rocking chair, and then CRAZY EYE through the peep hole on the other side, which may or may not belong to Jacob.

Ah, Lost. Headachy.

Yea, I linked to the Lostpedia earlier too. Didn't convince em.

One of the theories that I like is that Jin is still alive on the island. Sun (and the other 5) told the world that he died in the crash. The headstone had the date of the crash as the date of his death. This makes sense as he was a known passenger on the plane, but was not one of the Oceanic 6. To the rest of the world, he would be officially dead. The grave is empty, and the headstone symbolic.

They do...Jack testified that they crashed in the water and swam to shore on an Island in the South Pacific.

Funny thing is the "fake" plane or whatever it is was found in the Sunda Trench....which is NOT in the South Pacific/not even close. Something else to ponder:)

I got an offer to be on Lost, a really small part, low pay.

But there's no way I could have kept my mouth shut - my friends would have put bamboo shoots under my nails to make me talk!

I'm with GD on the Oceanic 6. Even though all fingers are pointing to Aaron as being the 6th member, I'm just not convinced. It's too weak, the numbers don't work, and I expect the writers to be smarter than that. If, after the airing of the very last episode of the series, we don't know who the real 6th member is, then I'll concede defeat. But if there isn't a darn good explanation for the discrepancies then I'm not going to be happy about it.

Time travel: So the doctor's body traveled back in time on its journey to the beach. And if I'm understanding things correctly it seems like the morse code message from Daniel (sent after the discovery of the dead doc) traveled forward in time. Interesting.

Based on the knowing glances between Claire and Christian, it looks like Claire knows everything there is to know about the island mysteries.

Move the island. I love it!

(And no DVR problems last night. I watched it live and double-checked the recording. No freezing/pixelating weirdness. I made no firmware updates, but who knows if something happened automatically in the early morning hours while I was asleep - when any firmware updates are usually applied. Or maybe the last two episode problems were just a fluke.)

Which means when they sent it, they knew the doctor was fine, which makes red and the other guy (whose names I just can't remember right now) liars (which we knew), but the person who sent it telling the truth, and no code to the statement.

And why didn't Jack think to maybe look through some of the other notebooks and papers he tossed out of the bag? Maybe something important (like the bad guys were going to torch the island) was in there?

Loved/hated the cabin tease from Christian - all the questions won't matter. But you have to ask the most important one.
