I'm gonna book something in the Valley for Monday and Tuesday, that can be cancelled pretty much last minute. So if anything opens at Big or Little Scenic, I might be interested.

But really, as I can only envision spending a day or two, I don't want to cramp anyone's finances by taking a vacated Scenic spot if that's going to be a problem.

It's gonna have to be the 4 days commitment or nothing.

innerSpaceman 06-13-2008 10:55 AM

I meant that if there are drop-outs and no other takers.

Pfft, or I can just pay for the 4 days and not stay for them. Hehehe, 4 days at the cabin would be about the same as 2 days at the Lodge.

Again, this is if there are drop-outs closer to the date due to circumstances unforseen 9/10's of a year in advance. Let's see what's up next February or March.

That is so f'in true. And, to me, that is off season since Easter will have passed but they don't see it that way.

But, hey, as one person, perhaps someone may want to split the four days with you?

We are two and I saw there weren't too many bedrooms so, even though price was right and the cabin fantastic, I figure we should get our own lodging.

I should definitely be around for the anaheim portion of the programming. Won't know about my availability for anything else until closer to the time, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, April isn't a time when I can travel, so you'll have to ride the Matterhorn without me.

You'll just have to come back to the States another time. ;)

Well, failing the Yosemite swanking, at least you have 2 weeks of the LashPair in Anaheim.

As much as I would love to be in on the Yosemite trip, Hearst is all I can commit to for now. As wierd as this is going to sound, I feel better traveling alone to places I am totally familiar with. The central coast (San Simeon to Oceano) is one of those places.

I will see about getting a hotel room in San Simeon, so that I don't have to put out the Boys by staying with them.

You can never get enough Hearst !! Last time, we did tours 1 & 2 - this time we're doing 3 & Nighttime. yay.

If you're in the area with time to kill, April is a great time for viewing the elephant seal rookery a half dozen miles north of there at Piedras Blancas.
