Lounge of Tomorrow - Total Serious Happy Thread

Despite having to occasionally leave the meeting to throw up, last night I was given a 2 year contract with a not unsubstantial raise - but even more importantly, I really felt that the people in the room GOT what I was talking about and appreciate the work I've done so far.

Too cool!:snap: I was worried when I read your post (I think on FB?) that you were feeling ill and had an important meeting the same day. Way to go, Matt!

(And wtg, Snow! I'm finding the older I get, the harder it is to lose weight, so when I discovered I'd lost 4 lbs since last fall I was pretty happy! It's motivated me to actually try to lose weight again- I'd kinda given up).

lashbear- if you weren't so incredibly cool (and far away) - I'd probably smack you for that remark ;)

I didn't meet the band, but I got to meet Neil Peart's drum tech, and we had better seats than Uncle Joe Benson.

It was an AMAZING show, with much more pyro than I've seen at Gibson before, and a spectacular light rig (yeah, I geeked out about that).
