Today's lunch is interesting. I raided the veggie drawer and washed up some green onions, tomatoes, green chilies and an avocado. I cut them nicely, placed them all next to each other on a plate and grabbed a fork.

It just now occurred to me that I'm eating un-mixed guacamole.

That's awesome.

I like cutting up hard veggies (bell peppers, green onion, tomato, squashes, whatever) and tossing it in a bowl with some balsamic vinegar and Italian dressing.

How funny! :) Sounds like a job for tortilla chips!

We are presently sans chips or tortillas, so I now don't feel bad about wasting a potentially good dip. ;)

Damn you... now I'm hungry for Azteca

Mmmmm. Elvis and garlic tacos. :snap:

Dam, Azteca sounds like an awesome place! Can't beat the triple-treat combo of Elvis music, mexican food, and fruity drinks! I am so envious of Y'all who get to eat there regularly. There are no places like it out here.

Thanks to an awesome sale at Fresh & Easy, we now have a freezer FULL of meat.

...They include: 8 pieces of seasoned chicken, 4 hamburgers, and 4 mild sausages. Everything is very fresh, and the chicken is super tasty.

We bought 11 packs, and had two $5-off coupons. We took everything out of the trays and consolidated it into freezer bags. So, 44 burgers, 44 sausages, and 88 pieces of chicken cost us only $45.

I know you are going to think I am a heretic, but that is just too much meat!

Mmm... just had some of last night's chicken (we BBQ'd the grill pack chicken) and the rosemary potatoes they also sell at F&E. Yummy!

I hereby condemn you to read the "Bacon is Meat Candy" thread in its entirety for a refresher course. :p

I've been craving bacon-wrapped tater tots since I posted about them
