So, after over a year... I *finally* looked up my grade from that Vintage Fashions class I took. Aced it :)

I am very nearly done completely gutting and re-engineering a user interface I wrote for work.

In about three weeks I've made it 10 times more functional, 10 times more user-friendly, 10 times less error prone...all in 10% fewer lines of code.

Feeling pretty damned accomplished (and trying to ignore the fact that it kinda highlights how stupid my first attempt was).

Unless you think the company would have been better off with no interface at all for the last three weeks I think you can cut yourself some slack.

Three weeks? My first stab has been in use for 3 months. It wasn't until 4 weeks ago (I lost a week of development time while conducting some training) that I started coding the upgrade.

Phew. Just had a deadline extend from the end of this week to at least 2 weeks out. I was about to be in for a seriously sh*tty week.

Since I last clocked in, another 4lbs down. I've noticed my clothes are much looser, eek.

Also in happy news, the cc debt is dwindling down, no new card to cut up yet, but close. The credit score has gone up a few points, too. Yay!
