Mmmmmm....So, Pimms is the new swanky drink? I will have to remember that and try one sometime. I may not be a drinker, but, I do like to try things, at least once. Thanks for the info on it!
Moonliner~ Oooo, shunts? So, I take it you haven't had them done? I think my older son would then likely have that problem as he has dry eyes. LOL Funny the things moms know but they hate to hear.... alphabassettgrrl~Glad your hound is home! So, esplain' it Lucy, she has an incision on her foot and two teeth were pulled....the connection is??? Or is there one? I hope she rests well. I read what you said earlier about the house not being the same without your pets. Our cat really makes our home cozy. She can be one crazy little gal at times {who knows what she is chasing!!} but she is loved here. So, I understand what you meant. Ooo, reading more about the ingredients of that Pimms...yummy! Sounds like a Capt Jack drink to me...a bit rum tasting? |

3.5 weeks left of summer school!
Just got the OK that I can take the health class I wanted at GWC. Need to buy my books, pass math and I'll only have 1 semester to go! |
Pimms, eh? SOunds interesting! I like the sound of the whiskey one (never could get the hang of gin).
My hound had a lot of stuff done today. She went in for dental work, and to take off a lump in her mammary gland (over an inch). The incisions for the lump removal are long and football-shaped to keep her skin flat when it heals. During the dental work, they found two loose teeth, so they pulled those. She had two other lumps that the doc took off, one on her hip, and one between her toes. My little Frankendog. At least she could eat dinner. She's doing pretty well, all things considered. And we found a collar that I think she'll tolerate reasonably well. Instead of a lampshade collar (which don't work at all on basset hounds), we found an inflatable one that looks like a little inner tube. She can eat, drink, lay down and all, just not get at her stitches. |
I'm now capturing the footage from Sunday's benefit event. I'm finally excited to be sitting here capturing/digitizing. And, yes, I will be posting a "backdoor" link to a clip from that event, so you can all enjoy. :)

... I think I need Carl's address. I just came across a copy of "Decline" that I'm pretty sure was the one I was supposed to have sent to him.

:p I'm still planning on bringing some Pimms #1 for any swank cocktail parties we may happen to have.... I'm sure Lisa will have a cucumber for me. |
Sheesh! Longest baseball game ever! American League won, though. That's awesome.

Annie Warbucks pics
Okay, so none of you have seen me with hair, so you don't realize how wierd this is.
Me and my two leading ladies: Hayley (from VH1's "I Know My Kid is a Star") and Kari (2007 Miss Oregon) Annie and Daddy Warbucks Both shows went great last weekend, and along with a good review for "Pippin", both have gotten good buzz on the Portland theatre blog "Followspot". It's going to be a fun month! |
