Lisa, is your brother ok?

Yes.. Midpines is West of where they are at by quite a ways. The fire location is off of 49 which is the road into Yosemite through Mariposa. It's not as heavily populated as the Oakhurst area where they live. I'm sure they are getting lots of smoke from the fire, depending on the wind direction. I think they picked a good time to go out of town (they are going to Jackson in Amador County to visit my Nephew).

If a fire was set near Oakhurst or Fishcamp I'd be really worried. There are LOTS of home off of highway 41.

Let's see...what's going on with me?

1. My new PC comes in this week! :)
2. My folks went up to the mountains for a few days. I am King of the Castle until tomorrow night! :D
3. I have friends across town who run a Karaoke company and they need some help around the house and they are willing to pay me Ca-Ching!
4. I got a surprise postcard in the mail today from a friend who was on the Disney repositioning cruise back in May! I guess it got lost a few months back. Castaway Cay looks so beautiful!

Life is good for the time being! :)

none of the above.

It was in reference to the "hit by an arrow" conversation.

Well, I know the second one was replaced by the 300 and the third one was retired in 2003. Can't tell you much about the first one.
