Semester #1 of 5 is complete!

I spent a good chunk of afternoon at Universal with my new camera and rented lens - check out these pics, and lemme know what you think

Beautiful pics - what lens did you rent and why and what does it do (I sensed a bit of widescreen type thingy effect in there...)

I rented a Nikon 10-24mm lens - it is an extra wide angle lens, perfect for landscapes and interiors. I'll only have it for a week, until I can save up for the $900 purchase price. Tomorrow is Disneyland day :)

If you're going into DCA, Is it possible to get a couple of panorama pics of WWOC for me?

I didn't get a chance to head to World of Color, bear- but I'm going to save my nickels and dimes (and a quite a few more dollars), and some time next year buy this lens.

I was told today that I'm getting the position I put in for! Not a promotion, but a lateral transfer to a quasi IT/software support position in my building.
