So apparently it's not enough to follow woot on twitter during a woot-off. They have a separate ID, not surprisingly named wootoff, which you need to follow to get the updates for each new item. They've sold some cool stuff today, pity I can't buy any of it, but it's been fun to see the randomness. Everything from Sony Vaio laptops to Star Wars bobble heads, to airbeds.

A friend of mine linked to this neat wiki article on Norouz, a Zoroastrian spring holiday that just passed. Since none of us (afaik) celebrate it, thought you might be interested in reading about it.

Oh hell, I totally forgot about the woot off. Probably a good thing for my productivity yesterday.

No surgery for Grandma yet. They didn't get her into a room until 1am... didn't feed her dinner because they weren't sure when the surgery would happen. bah!

I guess Chris will be a batchelor this weekend too. I just got a last minute overnight order.

So.....anyone here interested in day hikes around the socal area? I'm not up to doing more strenuous hikes yet so the Rat needs company.
