Is your cell phone near it?

When my cell phone syncs with the ~~mothership~~ er.. network it makes the computer speakers make all sorts of weird noises.

I am familiar with the cell phone noise - this was different. More like the sound when a transistor dies. Also, my phone was not in a different position than normal.

I will check batteries tomorrow.

I spend a lot of nights in different houses with different dogs. Tonight is one of the oddest I've ever done. The house is being compleerely remodeled so I'm sleeping in 22 foot trailer parked in the driveway. My companions are 3 huge goldens. It's a tight fit.

Data Plans here in Oz range from 200Mb to 1Gb per Month - after that extra Mb's cost from 12c to $1 per Mb depending on carrier.

One of my fellow supervisors sent out an email this morning reminding us that it’s our boss’s birthday, and asking if we all want to give $10 for a gift and a card. So far, the silence has been deafening….
