So if Claire is in the cabin hanging around with Christian, is she undead now too?

I'm thinking yes. She didn't seemed concerned that Aaron wasn't with her. She didn't seem to be freaked out that her dad somehow appeared on the island. And she had this weird look about her, like she was just hanging around with her friends, not running scared from bad guys and smoke monsters.

Yeah, I think my friend's friend was right, and Claire's a deader.

I think Charlie may be the only "ghost" who doesn't have a creepy air about him. Nice creepy, knowing smile, Claire!

BarTopDancer 05-09-2008 11:01 AM

So how did Sawyer, Hurley (though he sees Charlie) and Ben interact with her if she was dead.

Hummm.

Charlie slapped Hurley. A very dead Christian held a very alive Aaron. It's been established on the show that these "ghosts" are corporeal.

Of course, they may not be the ghosts of the dearly departed. They may be forms manifested by the island, which take on the shape of dearly departed familiars.

Who the heck knows? Probably not even the writers. Heh.

I only hated it(the tease that is, I loved the show). It was done very clumsily....might as well of had one of the writers appear on screen and say directly to the audience "we know you have been waiting for about a year for us to return to this cabin to finally meet Jacob and get some answers but instead of that we are going to not answer any questions and give you a couple more to try to figure out"

It could be that's one of the plotlines that was shelved due to the writer's strike delay.

I just watched the latest episode....

Keamy killed the hot Captain.... Keamy must die now. Painfully. Slowly. With a spoon. A dull spoon.

Move the island? WTF???

This happens every. single. episode. "Answer my question!" "There's no time!" I'm used to it by now.

Claire is dead, the island moves (how that would prevent the baddies from "torching the island" I have no idea), Locke drew the smoke monster as a kid. Awesome.

BTW, anyone else notice that Locke asked "how do I save the island", not "how do I save everyone's lives"?

I'm not so sure, the writers already know how the series will end. I'm not sure about all of the plot points, but this well could be one that they have mapped out.

Just because the captain is dead doesn't mean we will never see him again, the way this show is. They said people on the ship were acting wierd, they may be close enough to be effected by the island.

And "to move" the island may not mean physically, but in time. Perhaps Locke will need to adjust the time shift so that the coordinences will no longer get them to the island.

Oh yes. He has long refered to the Islan as alive, he seems to understand better than anyone else on 815.
