I have to agree bacon doesn't belong on a french dip. A place we order from also puts mayo on it - uh no.

Gary had a burger yesterday from the Ram and it had chicken fried bacon on it. He broke off a little for me and it was divine. I'm sure it's horrible for you but it was so good. I said next time I would just like a cup of cheese beer soup and a plate of that bacon!

Back the eff up.

Cheese beer soup? Is that a thing, or are you just listing words that make me drool?

GD: See "Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup" from Le Cellier at WDW ;)

(recipe available in Disney cookbooks!)

Urge Gastropub by us makes a wonderful beer cheese soup. It's one of my favorite things.

You can also get mixes where you just add the beer that aren't too bad either.

No, it is real and it was only 1.99 for a cup of beer cheese soup! If only they had chicken fried bacon as a side I would be a happy girl:D

I've got a recipe for roasted tomato soup with a cheddar crouton on top (like french onion soup but a riff on grilled cheese and tomato soup). I'm imagining that with some bacon sprinkled on top and thinking winner winner tomato soup dinner.

Except it's too hot for soup for dinner when it's still 100 during the day.
