I did report this prolbem [sic] but it appears that the vBulletin software just doesn't like to let us Ozsters loose on the quote gig.

So to ensure equity, you folk are going to have to stop making quotable quotes.

Or perhaps you might consider an "Adopt A Quotee" program in which you volunteer to act as a proxy Quoter?

There'd be paperwork of course, but you folks are used to that. Come to think of it, so are we.

So how about it? Anyone willing to adopt LashStoat in the "Adopt A Quotee" program?

Love and hugs,

The Stoat XXX.

"Lifting the lounge"? Is that what the kids are calling it these days? I thought that's why he had you, Stoat, so he didn't have to "lift" his own "lounge".

Hope for a speedy recovery!

The ongoing saga of the little bunny on my block:

A little over a month ago, I noticed a particularly brave bunny who would hang out on my block as I walked by with the chihuahuas. He would let me get pretty close to him, so I initially thought he was an escaped pet. My neighbor Sean, who lives five doors down, told me that at one point, there were two rabbits, but now there was only one. The first one either ran away or was coyote food.

Every couple of days, I'd see the bunny, and I'd stop and check him out. At one point, he stuck around long enough for me to bring the dogs home and get Heather, who came outside and watched him eat right on the sidewalk near our house.

Last week, while walking the dogs, I saw another neighbor, who lives 4 houses from us. I asked her if she'd seen the bunny (who was sunning himself between two parked cars). She told me that she knew all about him. Apparently shortly before I first saw the rabbit, he (and his mother) were purchased at a local pet store by a family that live next to her (3 houses from us). The kids put the rabbits on their deck - I guess they didn't know that rabbits could jump. I guess they didn't make much of an effort to retrieve them, because the two rabbits started hanging out in Sean's backyard almost immediately. The remaining guy (named "Carrot", btw) is still hanging near Sean's toolshed.

I saw Sean Saturday and told him what I know. I asked him if he could catch Carrot. He told me that he probably could as Carrot lets him pet him. He said that he'd catch him and return him to the kids. I asked him if he could refrain from bringing him back to the crappy pet owners - I'd happily call the Pasadena animal shelter once he got him.

This morning I saw Carrot again, basking in the sunshine on the sidewalk.

To be continued...
