Right on schedule.

the first sign of Fall here today too. Not anything having to do with leaves but for the first time since Spring a warm front has put us here in Northern Georgia in a wedge, which will keep us cool and wet. It's the summer so we will only see the 70's today but during the Winter these systems are notorious for Ice Storms (or at least the threat of them).

Ahh we can actually turn off the air conditioning today. :)

And, this is the time if year I hate all of you people NOT in California.

What, we get fall, NA...

We just call it wildfire season.

It's a balmy 71 degrees at my house today, but this weekend we head for the mid to upper 90s again. Just in time for my sister to visit

It's been a sad day in pug land. One of the young pugs who've I've "known" since she was 5 days old, died due to a heart defect and another pug drowned in a pool. I'm just going to spend the day hugging Thurston.

Poor puggies! :( Ugh.

alphabassettgrrl 08-12-2008 11:18 AM

Poor little doggies.

How funny... same here. Though it is toasting up and will be in the 90s, this is the first morning it wasn't in the 80s at 6:30am. It is the first time it's not going to be 100-ish in at least a month.

But, I thought to myself... Hmm.. Autumn!

The very best time of the year to visit Disneyland is early October, IMO. It's warm but not sweltering, no school children on vacation, and you've got your HM overlay.

Great

Our accountant just double clicked on a Zip file attachment in an email. "Well, it looked like it was from UPS" (the subject said it was about a UPS tracking number, but the email it was sent from is not in any way shape or form a UPS address).

So, we instantly unplugged her from the network and are running virus scans/cleans.

Oy people... when are we gonna learn???
