borgbjerg.com is some photographers site.

Chances are he/she is going to be more surprised than you when your bosses goons break into his flat with baseball bats....

Your boss probably doesn't get the concept of hackers hijacking innocent peoples' machines and addresses. I pity the random Dane who ends up on the receiving end of pointy-haired-boss's wrath.

Hummm..... Me thinks we have the makings of a great short story here.

Drowned? Had they not taught the pug how to swim to the steps?

Not Afraid 08-12-2008 02:11 PM

Pugs aren't the best swimmers to start with (Thurston always wears a life jacket around pools), second he was a recent rescue and third he was at an unfamiliar house visiting friends not his own house. He shouldn't have been left unsupervised.

Thanks for reinforcing my point. ;)

So, who wants to write the screenplay for this tragic comedy?

The thing is, the likelihood of ever finding the guilty party is slim at best. I don't care if he wants to waste his money on this, I am just sick of the time lost on crap like this. He tried yelling at me today for something not getting done in a timely manner when it was HIM that caused the delay.

BTW: we had to wipe the affected computer and rebuild it.

Bornieo: Fully Loaded 08-12-2008 06:07 PM

the humanoids email got hit with 1100 spam emails today. Pfft.

Kevy Baby 08-12-2008 06:29 PM

Small update: it was the SmitFraud virus (or a variant thereof)

Also (in case anyone cares), the incident is reported to the ICCC web site (which is linked at the FBI web site).
