so far...

-kitchen cleaning...well sorta. tidying anyway so people dont trip over stuff
-1.5 loads of laundry (to be continued)
-6 emails
-8 texts
-jumpstarted my truck from sitting too long
-(nearly) dropped an engine on my foot from about 3 feet in the air. good thing my ninja like reflexes got me out of the way (actually it rather abruptly PUSHED me out of the way as it fell)
-solo unload of my truck (offloading said engine and accessories)
-played automobile roulette moving the cars around in the yard so I can get to the gate.
-repair the gate. (oops)

..and it's only 1pm

still to come...
-move a giant chair out of storage to its new owners pad
-groceries
-blah
-blah
-blah

so, a wee bit of weekend boredom would be welcome at this point

:D

Woke up at 10am
Changed my sheets.
Linen load in the laundry
ate lunch
did dishes
still in my jammies and enjoying the last day I have to not have to worry about homework for the next 16 weeks.

I wanted a boring day. Instead my car decided to act up. Actually it started last night when I was driving home from Pasadena. When I stopped at a red light or stop sign it would nearly stall. After driving on the freeway it was no longer close to stalling because it was revving so fast. This morning it seemed fine at first but when I tried driving more than a mile it started stalling out again. I managed to get it to Firestone where they'll look at it tomorrow. A similar thing happened last year and the dealer fixed a bunch of things that came up on the computer. It's a 2001 Saturn with 150,000 miles and I wanted to drive it into the ground. Maybe I have already.

Do I have to go to sleep for it to switch from Saturday to Sunday?

Very active Sunday but still exceedingly boring for most of it.

The Terracotta Warrior exhibit at the Bowers is really interesting.

I can't nap, I wake up feeling like complete ****. I did fall asleep for about 30 minutes but woke up with a headache and a mildly nauseated feeling that took an hour to pass.

I'm just now getting some energy. Not that I'm going to do anything.

That's how I always feel after a nap. Ergo, I forgo naps. I haven't napped since I was three.

I just washed and seeded about 4 pounds of assorted hot peppers. :D

A bit later tonight, they'll get oven roasted and then bagged and frozen.

I found they make fresh salsa taste phenomenal and freeze/thaw very well in almost no time. So, I'm going to make up large batches at a time so they're handy.

I love me some spicy! :snap:

Just applied for a last-minute quick editing gig on a professional photography promo for tomorrow afternoon. Here's to hoping I get a phone call in the morning!
