I'm willing to take that risk. A bad day on a porn shoot's gotta be....okay, let me start over. An average day on a porn shoot's gotta be better than a day in a computer lab. I'll try not to think about the bad days.

Interesting. i know this a "racking focus"

That's changing focus in the same shot, usually to shift the attention from one object to another.

A person who is pulling focus moves around with the camera operator/DP and does all the focusing as the camera moves. (a.k.a. "follow focus")

I am having a hard time focusing on this topic.

Did she mention if it was a Cyrillic based alphabet? Interesting challenge (not that you're looking for an answer, but now I'm pondering). None of the Cyrillic-using Slavic alphabets I can think of make much use of diacritics but most of the Latin-using Slavic alphabets do

Thanks, CaptJack! I will not be blazing trails so much as following well-established ones, but still! Actually it's likely that a good portion of the group will be in front of me, so it will be them going over the cliff first.

DP- my coworker who worked in the movie industry started on porn. Not so much fun, but it's a paycheck, and I love the name game! :) As far as shooting and editing goes, it's no big deal, right? Your job remains the same. Shoot, edit.

Well, this is for editing, but I'd even be willing to shoot, as long as I can use the rain slicker on my camera to protect it from... elements. ;)

I was a production assistant on a gay porn about 3 years ago, it was sooooooo much fun!!! The guys were totally hot, though watching them do the dirty wasn't "hot" per se because it was very stop-and-go, fix the lighting, have another Viagra, etc. :)

Lots of money, making porn.

Porn. Cyrillic. Is there a connection?
