Yeah, I found that to be a bit much too, so I actually use half the cream and twice the chicken broth.

Just used your recipe tonight :) Used milk instead of the cream and had to use all Russet potatoes, but it was still quite good. Perfect meal for a cool evening. Thanks for the inspiration.

FREE BACON!
Now that I have your attention... Bill's sister gave us two pounds of pepper bacon for Christmas. I stuck it in the freezer at the time. I thawed one package out last night and made some this morning. We didn't like it - too peppery. Would anyone like it? We have a one pound package minus 4 rashers and a one pound package still frozen. Free to a good home! |
