I wonder if the same people would breed their children and then sell the offspring for profit also?

What kind of profits are we talking about? (Hypothetically speaking, of course)

Dude, I wonder if I have the guts for investing in airlines again:

Probably be another few days or couple weeks before the stock price fully recovers.

It was a "deferred pay" gig, without even reimbursement for mileage or tape stock.

Why the heck do people expect creative services for free??? :(

Well, unfortunately, because there are so many people in this city trying to break in to the business. And some of them are, unfortunately for us, from wealthy families or of independent-enough means that they can afford to do the deferred pay thing. It doesn't mean it's not possible to break in without it, but it does make it a challenge for all of us!

Just found Diary of a 100-yr old man on Slate. Very cool read.

Its already recovered most of the loss. Given the trend of UAL stock in the few days leading up to Monday, it is about where it was headed.

There was literally just a few-minute window where you could have purchased the stock at around $3 before NASDAQ halted trading and then it shot back up again.

The guy in the linked article only had a loss on paper of $16,000 for a few minutes.

If you guys are taking your phones make sure you turn off data or you'll have a huge bill when you get back.

I love that. "Sure, I'll look into that when I get back. In three weeks."
