No my mother has a strict two sheet policy. And she buys crap single ply to start with.

May I ask how she enforces this policy?

Don't most people (everybody?) fold for multiple layers? I know I do: a minimum of 14 layers between my hand and... well, you know.

That's quite impressive for a man of your age.

Oh Sohrshah, I am so sorry. There is not much worse than making that kind of discovery. My heart goes out to the little one. I am afraid of making such a discovery myself, with the way people drive around here.

Obviously she can't enforce but she herself uses no more than two. As kids we always got in trouble for using too much toliet paper in our bathroom.

And just for some morning TMI, when I went up to help her after her last surgery and I was the one who had to help her wipe, the two sheet limit was enforced. Ewww is the nicest thing I can say about that.

I don't think I have ever counted the number of sheets I use.

Life is too short! You know how Wyoming and Texas charge a "severance tax" on the coal and oil that leave their state? For years, my husband has proposed Wisconsin charge a similar tax on all the tp we ship out.

MSN's bit on 12 photos that should never have been posted online:

Amusing, but given the tantalizing title of page 2, I'll probably hold off seeing the rest of it till after work.

I'll never forget the morning when I was driving through the hills on the 210 to the 2. It was during some of the fires in the Angeles forest, so it was displacing a lot of animals. That morning on my way to work, I saw a small black bear, 2 deer, and a coyote, all within a 5 mile stretch. And, the worst part - traffic was slowed to a crawl, so there was plenty of time to notice all the carnage.

It was a really depressing day. :(
