Sooooo, JW's gingerbread cookies WERE delicious! I got home from the Greek to find 2 yummy bears (the cookies, not the men) on my front porch. I would've taken pictures of us eating them, but they went REALLY fast! YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY I GOT BEARS IN MY TUMMY!

Thank you John and Bill!

Now that I have an AP I have this urge to complain about everything.

I can relate. We finally get the jeep fixed and it's supposed to rain everywhere we want to go today. :( We woke up super early and got on the road and the sky just kept getting darker and darker. We turned around to come home and there's now blue sky outside. My cheese is so very very sad.

I'm glad they were still there when you got home. One of your neighbors was watching my every move as I put the bag on the porch. (Well, I assume he was a neighbor. He was standing in the front yard of the house next door, smoking a cigarette.) It was creepy.

The house to the North? Those neighbors don't smoke! Creepy indeed!

I'm still on a high from last nights David Byrne concert. While the Greek was a clusterfu<k, Byrne was wonderful. He did the songs on Byrne/Eno (and Burning Down the House) which included songs from Talking Heads and My Life in the Bush of Ghosts as well as more recent work. While there were not surprised in the band (no Eno, no Adrien Bellew etc) the group was amazing. He also had 3 dancers as part of the performance adding wonderful visuals to the performance.

However, I would still offer up my first child to see the Talking Heads "Remain In Light" tour again. I doubt anything could ever surpass that experience - but this was a good contender.

So, I am heading off to Kernville today. It is a big Harley run. The weather has finally turned. I think I am looking forward to the drive through the Canyon more than the destination.
