It's a good thought, and as a nonmammaltarian I've tried several "alternative" meat-like sausages, taco fillings, etc. I've found that soy protein, however disguised, just doesn't work outside its natural element. Tofu, sure, especially when stir-fried. Soy-sausage, soy-dogs, soy-taco meat -- no. I use ground turkey for those applications.

I was assuming that Tom's post about "meatless taco stuffers" was meant to inspire ribald comments.

Well, it IS a good source of protien, says so right there! ;)

You can keep it in your sausage nook.

Frugality and 3894 are not happy bedfellows.
