And that will be our country's undoing.

It's true. We need another industrial revolution type of thing.

If we could get cars that didn't use oil that we could build and sell worldwide, that could be it.

Start small and support small local businesses.

My friend Cam rocks.
He works on the 5th floor in his office building. Today the elevators are not functioning. So for lunch, he's having a pizza delivered to him.
"You know, so the delivery guy can walk the stairs and not me."
:D

Dude. He'd better tip. Heh. Smart though!

MouseWife 10-17-2008 09:54 AM

My thoughts exactly, he'd better tip.

I read back and didn't see anything mentioned about this {but I haven't checked other threads....}

I heard that the company that makes Mothers' Cookies has closed down? I believe it is a CA based company. The dj was saying how he went out and bought all that he could buy to sell on Ebay.

Check the banking thread, that's where you go to discuss cookies.

Sheesh

;)

MouseWife 10-17-2008 09:58 AM

Doh!

Off to the banking thread...

which I guess I've been avoiding because, well, finances sucking so much it is just easier......

So I was maybe supposed to go to Disney today but my friends left without me. Part of it was my mistake in not explicitly confirming that if they left late, that I could ride with them. I had class until almost noon, but by then they were already at the 5/134 and I didn't feel like driving down.

Instead I'm staying home and we're making lasagne tonight. Not quite a replacement, but at least it'll be something fun.
