I love my quiet morning with a nice hot cup of tea before going to work. Shawn had to go to Glendale this morning; not sure he'll be home when I get off tonight. ::pout::

Planning a mountain bike ride tomorrow but may be skunked due to red-flag warnings for the Santa Monica mountains. I can't find information on the specific area we're planning to ride, but there's a map that seems to include it in the red-flag closed zone. I'm only stressed because I won't be here to post anything to the bike list and I don't want people to show up if it's closed.

Got a few more minutes but then I'm off to work. See y'all!

Apparently today I am going to Glendale and the hollywood and highland area. And maybe Pasadena. Whee! Playing tourist!

A very nice, very beloved 1st grade teacher died after a very short illness. We need to go to the visitation, not the funeral but I don't wanna. I don't want to see her body. I want to remember her as we knew her years ago when she taught my daughters.
